As part of our provision for this year’s Ramadan, the school day will begin for students at 8:45am daily and end at 1:45pm. This is the same timing that we used last year.
We ask that you please factor these start/end times into your transportation planning whether your child travels by bus or car. The gate closure time during Ramadan will be adjusted to 8:55am after which the gates will close to all students arriving late. Adjusted bus pick up times will be communicated closer to the start of Ramadan via the transportation office.
You will receive divisional communications closer to the start of Ramadan which outline the adjustments to the lesson/break schedule during Ramadan as well as division-specific information to ensure continuity of learning throughout the holy month of Ramadan. We cannot stress enough the importance of regular attendance during Ramadan.
Your child鈥檚 divisional head will provide more specific information about changes to lessons and breaks.
